The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government passed the Decision to Form, the Standing Working Group to Investigate the Implementation Matters of the European Charter on Local; Self-Government

Vasyl Demchyshyn, Chairman of the Sub-committee on state building is appointed to the office of the Chairman of the Standing Working Group

Pursuant to the decision, Working group shall draft in two month term and submit for the parliamentary scrutiny the propositions regarding the possible ratification by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of new legal instruments of the council of Europe in the sphere of local and regional democracy: Protocol No. 3 to the European Outline Convention on Transfrontier Co-operation between Territorial Communities or Authorities (CEST 206) and Additional Protocol to the European Charter of Local Self-Government (CEST-207).
